7xl buggy 4s - 06.08.2009, 10:36 PM

will a 7xl 4s1p do ok in a buggy, anybody have an idea of a base line starting pinion, this is my first conversion i have a kyosho mp777 wc i got off of e-bay and motor mount as well, i will be doing some racing with

I have no idea on what buggy you have, and I don't know the first thing about buggies... BUT, I had that motor (for 2 months... cooked itself), you are going to want to gear for about 45mph, as the fiegao's need a decent load on them to be efficient, and not rev high(which is the number one killer of those....things)

So gear for 45mph and you should be okay for a few months until the motor just dies on you. It will go like there is no tomorrow, powerful motor.

I used a 7XL on 4s1p in my buggy with no problems. Be sure to watch temps and use good batteries.

is that 4s lipo or A123?
