Just need some udgrade suggestions on ESC. - 06.08.2009, 11:09 PM

Hey guys.
I have a RC8 RC-Monster conversion with chassis.
My Brushless is a Lehner 7-Hi amp Motor.
I currently use a Mamba Max with CC-bec
or Some times I use a BK 12020 ESc with CC-bec.
Just looking for a upgrade ESC for racing.
Running Lipo 4s.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,

The cheapest and best choices I can think of are the MMM and the HW150.

Thanks BrianG...
Any other suggestions............
Besides The MMM V3.
Would the Tekin R1 work with the Lehner 7 hi-amp motor?

I would just get a eZRun 150A from nitrorcx for $100. You really can't beat a deal that good.

Pass on the EZR150. Get a MMM or a tekin RX8.

Get me back into RC!

Why pass on the EZR150? It's not top of the line, but it's inexpensive for what you get. As long as you don't set the timing (or punch, can't remember which), it should be fine.

If you're racing, then the RX8 is the one to get.

Has everyone forgotten about Lutach's ESCs? I've never tried one but everyone that has has really liked them and they're cheap. Other than that you've got the HW 150A, MMM, and RX8.

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

I haven't forgotten about Lutach 200A 1/10 ESC that would fit the bill. But he currently doesn't have any available.
