I know it's rated for 4S but almost EVERY ESC out there can be run 1 cell over it's limit.

Worth a shot?

Tell us how long it lasts! I have a feeling you may want to run an external bec.

Definitely use an external BEC as linc said. But I don't know if i'd try it anyway... Wasting money.

I'm very tempted but if I kill it then that is the difference between the eZRun 80A and the 150A... I think it would be safest to stick with the eZRun 150A.

Nevermind the above. I'm going to go with the eZRun 150A ESC.
