Where to get 10 cells battery packs? - 01.28.2006, 12:37 AM

Just wondering where would you buy 10 cell packs for a e-maxx? Would they even fit in with gorilla straps.

What do i need to put them togeather myself? I know i need the batteries. jig to hold them, wire, connectors and battery bars. I've tired to put them togeather before but solder did not want to stick to them so i'm guessing they weld them of some sort?

nope, just solder. you have to put a little on both the bar and the battery or it wont stick.

You also have to make sure you use a high enough wattage soldering iron. 60-100W should do fine

just sand the ends of the batteries and the bars slightly, then use flux.

allows solder to melt at lower temperatures and makes it stick to the surfaces. Its very hard and stupid to solder without flux (resin)

well i guess you wont be able to charge one.... gotta get a charger to charge them or reduce your cell count... if you get another i would recommend the astroflight 112dx.
