Have you seen the 1/16 VXL motors yet? They are quite small. Even two might be overtaxed running in snow (lots of drag) IMO. I guess it depends on how low you gear it. Will the VXL motors even bolt up?

But, a couple CC4600 systems should work nicely on 2s or 3s.

They are water resistant and ok to run in the snow. Just don't get em completely covered in snow and they should be ok. The 1/10th vxls would suit your needs better. You could also consider cheap hobbycity motors and try waterproofing them yourself.....

water isn't the damaging factor, its the resulting corrosion from leaving water sitting that damages componenets. I ran my mm throughout the winter, sprayed it well with wd40 to displace any water afterward, then air compressed it dry. Still runs like a champ. Remember, moisture is ok, corrosion isn't. Moisture will lead to corrosion. you can get them wet but dry them before damage starts.

Agreed i had my spektrum dx2.0 loose signal on the beach and my car went into the ocean. Well let me just tell you. Wd40 and a gas station with air saved the whole car. My mm lasted me another 8 months after that happened and the motor is still running. And when i say it went in the ocean. I had to go swimming cause it was full speed ahead with paddles and 3s lipo. Lets just say i now know rustlers can run on top of water.
