Dilemma... - 06.26.2009, 04:39 PM

Hey guys, I'm back into RC but I have an issue. I have a Jammin X1-CR, the original, and it's great, but to replace the broken parts and upgrade to big bore shocks would be around 200 bucks. What I'm wondering is, would it be worth it to just sell it, cut my losses, and buy an X2, Mugen or Xray?

Thanks.

EDIT: There was more damage than I thought, and the tires are shot. It would probably cost closer to $270 to fix it.

How do you like your hyper st? The hyper 9 looks to be in my price range.

Hmmm, well durability is the only thing I really care about. Followed by cost of parts. I'm just a basher.

thanks for the info.

If you just bash get the HST pro. I've only broken the front body mount in a year of hard bashing. Parts are also very cheap far as truggies go.

Well that's good to hear. I'm more of a buggy man. Do you prefer it over an X-Ray? Or would a used xray be better than a new hyper?

I've never driven an xray, so I'm not sure. they do look nice- but you can get a HST pro for $340.
