Losi Short Course Truck? - 07.02.2009, 06:32 PM

http://www.losi.com/

See coming 7-9-09

Says see why competition is a good thing and the pic sure looks like a short course truck to me. I find it funny that when TRX came out with the slash many said it was just a fad, same thing was said about the T-Maxx many moons ago too so oh well......

Which is the same thin AE did.

I wish they would do one with a link suspension and a solid axle. That would make some realistic driving characteristics.

Yep, and be cool as hell. And yes, AE did the same thing but at least they tried to be scale with the mudflaps, cage, etc. Also, the SC8 wasn't just a rebadge, they actually put some thought into it. Plus they sponsor one of the CORR trucks and got replica bodies :)

Forget that short course crap, take a look at the limited edition mini lst2!!!!! It Even has metal ring and pinion for increased lifespan!!! Yay, now I can get 4 packs instead of 2 thru my crap truck before rebuilding the diffs!!!

Looks like losi is badge engineering as bad as GM did in the late 80s till now...

I like some of my losi products, and their rtace division seems to be turning out good stuff, but the toy division seems to be stuck on stupid... Ohhhhh, they have a speed nt, a nitro truck that does 60!!! Wow, nothing like a jato 3.3...

I don't think any r/c car has ever left me more ticked off than the mini lst. POS out of the box, and still is.

My MLST2 was the first truck I got, and I hate it. Still have it, the front diff needs rebuilt, again, and I just can't bring myself to tear it apart again.

It really wouldn't be bad if they actually did some R&D vs. changing the body and a few other minor things and calling it new model.

Really.

"I wonder why my mega baja has exactly the same performance as my lst2 but cost $150 more..."

"Oh yeah! It's because of that new awesome body!"

You mean aftershock, not lst2... Lst2 costs 650 bucks or something crazy like that... Nice truck, but best got used as a roller for 100 bucks!
