Wing mount integy - 02.10.2006, 07:35 PM

Has any one mounted a wing on the integy racer x suspension? I was thinking of running a wing on it and was wondering. Any ideas on trouble it would be. Would it be easier to change out the shock tower to another brand?

Peace!

I have seen them. I was wondering about the integy shock towers. It don't look like it is going to be easy. I may invest in some of the dace ones or titanium.

Dace one's are stronger ;)

If you land hard on your wing the shocktower may bend.

my moneys on the titanium ones. titanium will bend slightly and spring back to absorb some of the impact although i dont think that think of titanium will bend much at all though.

If the tower bend's you might bend the shock shaft's instead. Not sure, but it is a possibility.

squeeforever is correct, however rcbros hasn't been able to even bend them.

I would replace any damaged towers anyway, I dare you to break them, there won't be much left of your truck, actually you could end up with a pile of broken bits and undamaged towers.

Ti Wing Mount Towers

Dace wing towers are too tall on a Gmaxx, that's why I made these, and there $15 cheaper.

Yet. Indeed so far so good but summer is just starting.

Again another flaw of the towers. Not to mention no shock stand offs. I used my fast lane maching body mount cups on the towers and it worked fine.

The body mount design is exactly the same used on Dace, UE, CNR, FLM, and Gorillamaxx....and you ask me how the body mounts fit? :005:

If you already have Dace, UE, CNR, FLM, or Gorillamaxx towers your hardware transfers over, if not I will supply all needed items.
