Most Durable Buggy -

I need some suggestions. I am wanting a 1/8th scale buggy. I only bash with it. I need the most bullet proof buggy out there. Any suggestions?

jammin buggies are as close to indestructable as you are going to get. Mugens arent bad either. Caster is like it is made of glass.

caster is really good actually... is a mugen copy.
the best is going to be a mugen mbx6 or a xray 808

Hyper 8.5's are tanks, might be hard to find one though.

D8 is the tank to get
MBX6 is quite weak.

thats the reason I can say D8 is a tank.
broke a single part this season (front spidle after bad landing into concrete curb after being blown by wind during 30 feet flight)
did hit a MBX6 couple times and mugen was in pieces.
seen just too many broken arms on MBX6 this season.
MBX6 is much weaker compared to good old MBX5. But since MBX5 is out of production D8 is clear winner :)

I've cartwheeled my 8ight at over 90 and all i did was crack a rim. to me, the 8ight is the most impressive i've seen.
i also like the availability of parts. everyone carries losi, and horizon hobbies is their distributer.
there was also that buggy that jumped the house on youtube...i think that was an inferno. can anyone confirm?

Iirc it was a kyosho. The guy worked at kyosho. I also remember hearig that beast never ran again. The chassis twisted? I think other things broke too.

My 8ight was run over by a car... a real car, and I could still run it without fixing it. I probably don't need to say anything else, other than that was the last time I ran an FM radio system in it.

I've got 2 Hyper 7s and have never managed to break anything and they've been around for years (and still in production) so parts are very easy to find. They're a bit on the heavy side but mine have been great so far, the only thing I've broken is a CV cup because something got jammed in it, I've since put universal shafts on them both and no issues.
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

Thats what I don't get, why is the Hyper 7 still in production but not the 8 or 8.5. The Losi is a tough machine, and parts are always easy to get.

bottom line nothing is indestructable, but everybody stocking losi and associated cars and part either one would be a good choice, i would even suggest kyosho but the availability of parts is never a local hobby shop usually
