Question for Tekin - 10.03.2009, 01:44 AM

I'm going to be picking up an HPI Blitz when it is released. The truck comes with a 15 turn brushed motor. Thats fine for 2s, I will be using 3s because that's what I have. My question is which one of your 1/10th brushless motors is the equivalent of 2700kv, or close to 2700kv?

Thank you.

Go all they way, ( i know its not tekin) But i run the CC 2650 setup in my slash on 4s..

The tekin system would perform just as well.. man its fun

Holy crap man, I could barely keep the wheels from spinning with my stock slash on 2s. I have a 1509 3300kv Tekno Neu. Guess I'll wait until I get the truck and see if it fits.

I have the tekin redline 632 and it runs brilliantly on 3s. A 13.5 on 3s will be less powerful, but more toward what you are looking for, still much more powerful than the 15 turn brushed motor.

I was really wanting to keep it close to the stock speed, just a little quicker, nothing crazy.

No, you can run 3s. A 17.5 will do the trick. It' will be like a 10.5 on 2s, which should be very similar to the 15 turn brushed.
