I broke 76 mph has anyone heard of a e-maxx based truck going that fast or faster? I know it will go faster but the slipper must of been slipping and threw the composite shoes off. I need a slipper eliminator kit made by oomp on the traxxas forum but cant get ahold of him through pm's. This is only my second time out with the new tires. I have higher gear ratio to go to also. Next time out I gaurantee 80mph+. Heres my build thread for the ISC event i am attending with my truck http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23492
Not a 76 mph pass but how about a 75 mph wheely. Obviously it capable of more if it can come up at those speeds. I changed the throttle curve wrong to give it a big shot of power at 80% throttle. It didnt work the way I thought it would every time I approached 80% throttle it came up and I had to let off. It went 76mph with failing slipper, less timing, lower gears, more punch control and stock throttle curve. 3 videos on my G-maxx speed thread. http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/show...845#post331845
Well I will post video of it doing 80 mph. 76 isnt worth it LOL . I have 6 people who seen it also. But without video proof you can say what you want. I will be ready for the event and will break some records like 58mph for open wheel and ~72 mph for emaxx a guy on this forum has.
Its all giberish unless you do it at a sanctioned event and actually make or break a record. He said she said is all gossup until we all see it happen anyway. Your work looks great so far RiverMaxx. Just keep it up and get some test runs under your belt so you can be totally ready for the event in two weeks. Not only does your vehicle have to be race ready, but you have to be up to speed as well. Then we can watch the event videos and read about it in the RC magazines. Good luck with your adventure.
Its all good, I Know I dont have proof as far as a video. Next time I will and all the none believers can kiss my a$$. Plentenbergs we all know your trucks dont see nothing but greenbelts because you are afraid of scratching anything. Your all show and no go and we all know it LOL. The title "The Guy with the most Show Queens" is yours and yours alone. If you knew anything 1 brushless motor is always better then 2 fighting each other, no 2 have the same kv rating .
This reminds me back when I used to street race, a guy in a porche 911 was beating everyone. When I asked him to race my supercharged chevy pickup hes said he doesnt want to waste his time. Finally got him too race me and he got his a$$ handed to him not once but twice. I miss that truck & the countless disapointed muscle car, corvette and mustang owners getting waxed lol.
emaxx-sweden from traxxas forum used t-maxx disc brake pad in lieu of composite pads, along with hd robinson back plate.am using same setup on my my maxx and it works awesome.as soon s i can find part#'s i'll post.
Yes its a revo spec slipper. If I cant get ahold of oompand get a slipper eliminator kit. I will just tighten it down really tight with a t-maxx disc beak. Good thing I have a couple. The eliminator will assure absolutly no slip anyway whats another $20. lol
Been looking through oomps threads on the idiot forum- he has made some truelly awesome custom parts, shame so many guys were hating on him because custom parts arent traxxas parts, or some twoddle like that. Post some pics up of his eliminator when it arrives, and tell him to join up to Rc-monster too, he would fit in really well around here
I believe he is a nitro guy. He hasnt replied to his pm's on the traxxas forum. I got ahold of him with his paypal adress. He is a machinest and has made quit a few items for the traxxas vehicles. Dude could make a killing over here making custom stuff for people.
