Mike's Custom Motor Mount to mount Tekin T8 motors in a Savage Flux! - 11.12.2009, 03:15 PM

This is a custom motor mount that Mike, made me so I could install Tekin's T8 motors/esc in my Savage Flux. I'm not sure if hes going to list it as a normal item for sale on his website so if your interested contact him for one. The silver one in the pictures is the custom mount and the rear one is the stock mount. Thanks for all the help and the great mount Mike!

I am going to be doing a complete tare down on the truck and going to rebuild it with lots of aftermarket parts. I have graphite extended chassis plates, graphite motor mount, graphite servo mount, graphite bulkhead lower plates and graphite shock towers from Platinum RC Products. I also have Golden Horizon Aluminum Bulkheads, HPI Machined Bulletproof Diff Bevel Gear Sets, HPI High Speed Idler Gear and Shaft Set, HPI HD Drive Gear, HPI Light Weight Drive Gear, HPI Light Weight Idler Gear, HPI HEAVY DUTY SERVO SAVER SPRING, and finally a Hitec HS-7955TG servo. So as you guys can see I'm going to be busy

just curious, why did you switch out the stock motor for the tekin?

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

if your going that far you should go for a suspension conversion kit from HPI as well as the aluminum big bores.
sounds like my dream flux tho, keep us posted!
