Balancing PQ on ICharger - 11.22.2009, 05:11 AM

Hello.

I am about to order a ICharger 208B from HobbyKing.
I am unsure if I need any extra adaptor to balance my PQ lipos ?
Do I need anything that is not in the box, and if yes can you pls link to it (on Hobbyking if possible),

TIA

The iCharger has JST-XH balance plugs, so you need something like this:

This one is for 3S since I don't know how powerful lipos you have.

You need female PQ to male JST-XH.

Is the Align connector same as JST-XH ?
I can find the Female PQ to JST-XH on HobbyKing but since http://www.rclipos.com has free shipping I might use them.
(Living in Sweden has its drawbacks some times)

I'm also from Europe and ordered some TP and Hyperions from RClipos. Fast shipping. :)
You can also have a look at the Hyperion EOS720i NET3 for 180$ (20A but 250W instead of 350W of the iCharger)

You can get PQ balance boards for the 208B - Clicky.

I have a 208B myself - it's a good charger - you won't be disappointed.

JST-XH is an Align connector (most popular). JST-EH is a Neu connector (least popular).

I have also used RC-Lipos a few times, and they are very good.

Oghhuuu this is frustraing, can someone link to a proper balancer board from 2S up to at least 6S (if possible) that will accept PQ lipos and attach to the ICharger 208B.
I need it to be available from either Hobbyking or RcLipos.com, or a similar site with LOW worldwide shipping.

It just doesnt make sense for me to order a USD 10 item and pay for overseas shipping.
I perfer a board instead of buying a set of cable adaptors if possible.

I see your problem- you have an 8s charger with balance connector on the charger itself to match; every adaptor board or plug/lead I look at is for 6-7s max...

http://www.progressiverc.com/index.p...f389d378903cf4

Designed for the 208b, PQ adaptor board, $9.99 + free shipping; I am a google master...

I've just checked and the PQ connector fits straight into my JST-XH balance board - you won't need another board.

It does too, according to a few guys on HK- I edited my post after I found the proper board required, but if no adaptor board is required- even better!
