Inventions - 12.03.2009, 11:38 PM

Well for awhile now ive been pondering on things to invent as a get rich quick scheme just to research it and have it shot down by something better.. what are some of your ideas? (dont have to be RC related) also beware dont post it if you are going to persue it as i may get rich with it!! (but i may cut you in on the profit lol)

well i have drawn up some blueprints for ye-ol' internal combustion engine.
sure with electric motors on the rise it'll become redundant, but notice how people are having trouble to let go of petrol?

anywho, my engine is still a 4 stroke, still has pistons but the secret is in the crank. the engine is able to vary it's compression ratio on the move, thus allowing it to run on anything from hydrogen to crude oil.
it will be bassed on a diesel engine but it shall not require injectors because the compression ratio will adjust the timing.

the compression ratio can also be reduced to 0, thus rendering the cylinder inert so as not to waste power.

also, normal engines, when the fuel has just exploded, the piston is at TDC and it cant turn that explosion into power until the piston is about 1/4th of it's way down the stroke. my engine has MAXIMUM leverage at TDC and hence will have a huge power gain when compared to normal engines of the same displacement.
a correctly running diesel can reach up to 50% efficiency which is on par with brushed DC electric motors so it might be a fesable design if i can get a prototype built.

my inspiration was a coke bottle

Honestly though, ever since I was a little kid, I've always thought of this little tank thing, that you can lower your blinds (the one that go up and down, not side to side), and it's like a fish tank.. Though, it brushes, rubs, and cleans all the dust off...

It's always been a pain, getting yelled at to clean my blinds.

Another thing, was to make a little pole, like a dolley, but have a magnet, and when you're in the workplace cleaning up, just use it like a vacuum cleaner, and just go over everything metal, like nails, so you don't pop any holes in your tires...

But somebody stole that from me.
