What's your Brain List of builds you wish to do ? - 12.21.2009, 05:12 AM

Hey there RC Fanatics !

I thought this would be a great place maybe even a sticky for all those wild idea builds that you have been wanting to build or did finally conquer. A place for us that overflowing in creativity and design ideas but either we don't have the money or the time or simply just have not built it yet.
So I thought for kicks all of us great innovative, scaler, speed freaks, jumping freaks or what ever else there is could come here for listing or sharing our " I wanna build this "

Tell us a little bit yourself, history of RC and then list your Great Past creations and what you would like to build in the future.
Try to be brief with your build description and or post a few pictures of Good thought out drawings, cads or maybe you have part of your creation mocked up.

For me: I started in RC 25 yrs ago, began buggy racing, I got bored of stock car kits within 3 yrs and ever since I have either modified, combined or built from scratch.

I have always wanted a 1/5 scale fast car, so finally I recently built my 1/5 scale 4wd more powerful than electric street car I call Rev-Osi. but the body sucks, so the goal is to make my own. Any of you done that ?

Another Project that I have not started is to build a scale copy of my beloved 85 4Runner that I use for Rock crawling. Using parts mostly from the famous Tamiya bruiser

Hey thanks
Yea I think you too. I have been a member of Pirate for about 10 yrs, it's my primary forum. although outdoor wire might have been my first 4x forum. not much on yotatech, forgot about that one. marlin crawler, there are so many I cant remember.
I actually did finish my Forward Twin stick and sold a couple, it's cost so much to make and I dont want to charge like $300. so I just pm/email guys from time to time that were interested and let them know I am making them. there is another guy selling them for $400. but mine has adjustability and fits trucks with no body lift or even a 3/4 drivetrain lift. After I was laid off I had a lot of time to work on them and now tinkering with rc's to try fill my need to keep busy other than just looking for a job.
the employment market is ridicules.

For 2010 I have two build I want to get done. The first isn't really much of a build, I'm planning on a 4x4 slash and def getting the new ford raptor body to go on it, then put aftermarket parts on it as the stock ones break. I also want to get a carpet car together, thought I'd have one together for this winter but I already spent way to much on RC this year. I will continue modding my e-maxx as parts break and get a BL setup for it in the spring. May also get a different motor for my 1/8 truggy.

Outside of RC my f-15 needs a new bumper and some paint work, I'm also planning to do a K&N intake and hopefully a 2 1/2 inch front levelling lift. I would also like to have a plow on it before next winter along with some new tires for the winter
