Assistance needed from LST owners.... -

wondering if you could help me trouble shoot a issue with my new converted xxl. I put it all together with the TDR single speed hub and slipper pads. Upon my first run today I drove about 60 feet and the drive train disengages. By rolling the rig around it will re-engage. I know that the slipper has a pin in the back of the assembly that transfers the power to the drive. Now even tho there is a ever small amount of slop in the tranny shaft that holds the slipper plates I am wondering if somehow the pin is slipping. I doubt this as I have taken apart and redone it.
I have taken apart the slipper and reassembled 3 times all seems tight, then same scenario...It runs about 50 fooot and then just the slipper and pinion/spur spin and noting engages in the drive-train. I am a bit puzzled. The tranny has never been apart as this was a NIB rtr. Before a full fledged teardown I was wondering if you have an idea what I may be going thru.
I have heard of guys do the forward only tranny conversions on their lst2 from aftershock tranny, but I dunno what up with this or its related somehow.
When you turn the spur by hand it seems almost a full half turn before it engages the wheels....this is when it is engaging. I dunno. I have tried synching the slipper down but no help there either.
along with the reverse lever the hi/lo selector can be sketchy on non-forward only trannies.
If it's the slipper causing the problem you won't see the adjustment locknut turning, because that is the input shaft. If the nut is spinning the slipper is working and it is tranny related.
sounds like the reverse lever though....
