2s lipo on MMM combo? - 03.20.2010, 12:40 AM

I got a son who is 3 years old, and last year he drove my Summit most of the summer in the low gear. Now the weather is nearly ok to drive again here in Denmark, but the Summit is sold.

So my question is, will the MMM combo work properly on 2s lipo, if I set it to 20% speed in castle link in my Losi Aftershock?

What setting do you use in the CastleLink to limit speed?

I would put it on 20 %, to keep the speed down.

It will work fine, you just want to make sure that will be enough power for the motor, or it maybe a little slow (then just work up the power % I guess!).

OK, thanks for the replies. i don´t know if 20 % is too slow, but I will try and see how it goes. Just doesn´t wanna ruin my lipos.

What setting exactly are you setting to 20% on the Castle Link software? If I recall correctly, there's no speed setting in the software, just punch control, brake amount, reverse amount and start power. I think you can only control speed with gearing and voltage for any given motor. That or throttle EPA on the transmitter.
