So where is the updated video with a real video camera so we can actually see the boat? It looks like it was a fun project but it would be nice if we could actually see the results.

Anyway this new project sounds like fun as well. I hope you can use a better camera to video tape the testing. Good luck with that.

the better video never happed since the stock driveshaft in the boat broke (even with a direct drive system). thanks for saying something though. i need to edit that part out.

and yes, i will have better videos this time no matter what! my old phone was a 2.0 megapixle camera but the video was actually worse. my new phone is a 3.2 megapixle with a camcorder the seems about as good. so if anything, i can always do that. but i've had a friend or two since then who have said i could use their camera witch would be much better.

space to mount everything will be a little tricky for this build

Man, soon you will be able to say:

''Nikko is awesome quality, I have one myself and it goes atleast 50mph / 80 kmph'' :D

Will keep track of your project, sounds like fun.

Not sure about the scale. i'd have to guess about 1:16. going to run the mini e-revo's system in it :) and yup, e-maxx is doing great! it's very dependable and durable now (about time!)

That's one smalllll motor.
I had a Hummer H1 Nikko that I LOVED.
Hell, I even had that cool little switch that went from High to Low speed that did absolutely nothing.

Then I had to get the RC bug, and start jumping it.
Cracked a wheel arm, no way in hell it's coming back.
It's in pieces in my "Memory" box..

I had a Nikko Night Rage 1:10 MT probably, oh, about 15 years ago. This was before I knew that NiCd batteries could wear out... LSS, I threw it out 'cause I thought the circuitry went bad inside. Stupid mistake... I loved that truck and I've been trying to find another ever since.
