I've been runnin thunder power 3s 3200 40c since I bought the truck. Most hardcase 3s packs will fit but I have also used some turnigy 3300's as well. The turnigys work well too but fit kinda loose in the tray. Had the tp packs when I got the truck and just keep usin em cause they fit and work very well in 5-8 min races and weigh the same as a 2s 5000 ~300g

HobbyShity 3s 5000mah 30C fit beautifully but the tray needs a small notch for where the wires exit the pack.
HobbyPartz 3s 5000mah 40C fit also and require the notch as well in the tray.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I'm running some of these - fit nice in the Slash, and in my Flux trays.

Just so happen to have 2 of those I am using for another project. I did check and the are perfect...many thanks!

Looks like I will be adding more batteries to the stable soon...like having 12 now is not enough

What about running them "on-edge"? Yeah, it raises the COG a little, but it's an option. I did this in my 2wd slash because I didn't want to cut a notch in the chassis and wanted to fit a 4s pack in there.
