I know this isn't what everyone wants to hear!
Traxxas. They haven't stepped in yet, but once they do they will probably change racing again. I hold it to them for making things cheaper to get into the hobby and get racing. I know some here think lowly of this company but I will wait to see what it is that they can come up with next. Since, whatever it is it always is followed by a class to race them in. |

I think the obvious thing is more electric specific kits, as opposed to nitro conversions. Chassis and overall build designed with electric power in mind from day one. Battery technology seems to be moving very fast, so there should be some interesting developments there in the near future. I'm not sure how much bigger "big bore" shocks can get, but it seems like every year someone tries to sneak in another millimeter or two. This prediction is more of a joke than anything, but we'll see I guess? |

The major manufacturers will finally get their heads out of their behind when it comes to electric conversions and FINALLY listen/talk to RC MONSTER MIKE for how to do it right from the start....

I am with Simplechamp on this one. I am crazy for 8th scale buggies and want to see one built from the ground up for nothing but insane electric power. (The Hyper 9 was nice, but still borrowed a lot from its nitro counterpart) The current stuff is great and I am certainly not complaining, but it seems where the big racing trend from the serious companies for nitro has been to lighten the parts....drives, diffs, shock towers ect....I would like to see one that is just over built and balanced for electric from the ground up. And make a battery trey that can adjust to fit ROAR packs for the racers and adjust for the rest of us that may use packs bigger than 138 millimeters. Just my 2 cents.
