Sorry to keep posting non-r/c related videos, but this one has to be shared. I am sure some of you have seen this already.

Because they were towing him out, and he kept smashing the car and they just kept going and going. They should have stopped and reevaluated the situation. If that was your car getting smashed would you be like "Meh I guess there's nothing they can do really" Probably not!

I dont think the guy filming was the owner of the SUV being damaged, I think he would have ben really freaking out yelling "My truck!" instead "your idiots" ????

I wonder if the tow truck driver could have pulled the tractor out easier form the front, the camera never panned to the right much so IDK. Just seemed to make more sense to go forward than back to me ?

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.

I saw this on FailBlog and unfortunately all I can say is woopdeedoo. They hit the car, the city is going to have to pay for it. Yes they could have done it a smarter way but if any of you watch the news you know that New York has been destroyed by snow. I can honestly say I feel sorry for the guys in this vid who are just trying to do their jobs. If the snow is so bad that the plows (some with chains) are getting stuck than there really isn't much that you can do. In this case he got stuck, the city NEEDS that piece of equipment so they are not going to leave it there, so they MUST get it out. Unfortunately someones car(s) had to take one for the team.

You can defend these guys all you want, but i think a kindergartner would have more common sense than these guys, it almost looks like they did this on purpose, at least that is the only thing that would make sense. Sorry, but any piece of equipment that has a big bucket like that DOES NOT get stuck. A good opperator would use the bucket to get himself out. I have seen it done dozens of times and have done it myself once or twice. The only time we have ever had to use another piece of equipment to get unstuck was in deep mud.

The funny thing was it was a state owned truck. The woman who drove it also had her Camery damaged as well.

The Warnings & Cautions discussed in this manual cant cover all possible conditions/situations. It must be understood that common sense and caution are factors which cant be built into this product.

If they caught the bumper or hit the door once on the pull out that's one thing, an accident, but the way they repeatedly smashed it over and over again is plain stupidity. I don't see how anyone could think "Well that's just the way it is, nothing they could do to stop it". They could have prevented what happened, but apparently the city of NY doesn't pay them to think.

Why did they send it out without chains in the first place? I'm with Josh.....he could easily have used the bucket to get himself out of there, assuming he was an experienced operator. The way they did it was just pure laziness. Not to mention the complete disregard for others' property.
