Needed parts for Single Speed Tranny - 04.19.2006, 07:27 AM

Planning on upgrading to the G-Maxx Single Speed conversion...

(BTW..does anyone know when Mike is getting them in again? Seems to have JUST gone out of stock again. If not soon, I'll probably pick it up directly from GorillaMaxx since they still have them in stock)

Anyway..without using any parts from the current stock tranny (planning on selling)..are these all the parts I need to complete the conversion?

#4611: 5x11 Ball Bearings (x2)
#4614: 6x12 Ball Bearings (x2)
#3982: Teflon Washers
#3993: Input Shaft Drive Gear
#3995X: Idler Gear Shafts
#3994: Output Shaft
#3985: 31T Output Gear
-Steel Idler Gear (Either SuperMaxx or Mike's...when will Mike be getting more in?)
#1647: Silicone Grease

Please let me know if I'm missing anything!

Thanks!

It takes 4 bearings of each size so 8 total bearings. 2 5x11 on the intput and 2 5x 11 on the idler gear. Then you will need the other 4 6x 12 on the out put shaft and second gear.

Peace!

I'm confused... I don't need the gearcase if I'm getting the single speed kit, right???

You need the single speed and 1 half of the gearcase, Mike sells an aluminum gearcase for 40$ on the site (this case is made by flm) . OR if you want you can use the stock plastic case just like me and numerous people use.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Yups, the singlespeed only includes the plate, not the case. :)

I didn't want you to get two bearings and not have enough to get it going.
