Question MMM shutting down - 02.18.2011, 08:10 PM

I have a first run v3 that is new. I have it in a shash 4x4 with a 1410 1y on 2s. It has been shutting down, sometimes re-arming with only the steering working and sometimes working as normal, and sometimes just re-arming over and over.Bumps will also shut it down. Does it on all my 2s packs. No on off switch and my solder joints are all good. I have heard the traxxas servos will cause strange issues, but doen't have one to swap out. Any ideas? Thanks!

What connectors are you running? I had a male deans on my mmm in my buggy that was worn out and did the same thing. Just a thought. If that's not it you said it was a first run v3? With the bullets on the battery side? Maybee the bulluts are loose? Dunno just thinking out loud.

New deans, but was thinking of changing them out. They go in to easy. My bad on the version, my other 2 are first run. This is a second run. Got it a week after the others. It has the battery leads soldered to the board.Bullets on the motor side rock in the sockets, but was told by a woman at castle when I got it it would be ok(fit in tight but rock once plugged fully in). That should'nt cause this issue though. Any input is welcome thinking out loud included! Weather got crappy again so no real hurry to fix it. Off topic the 1410 really owns the slash 4x4. You would think there was a bigger motor in there.

Was kinda the same feel with my deans that were giving me trouble. So I set it on the pit table on and fidled with the connectors and got it to cut out so I changed them out. Good luck let us know how it turns out.
