Please more 1400 options. Any plans for? - 04.19.2011, 08:16 PM

I would really love to see a 3000kv 1412 . I think there's just to big of gap between the 3800 and 2400. I would also like to see a low enough KV in the 1406 to make it plausible for a 4s setup.

So are there plans for this stuff, and I just missed it, or are we just getting what we got, be happy we got that.

I hope there are more options coming.

Great looking line of motors. I just find it hard to have confidence in a 1/8" shaft to deliver the power these motors make.

5mm shaft option please.

5mm is a must...

That being said, I would just be happy if Castle kept the full Neu line in stock for immediate shipping :-)

I'm putting in an order for a 1110 and a 1410 this week... Buy Neu's and the variety of KV's are there.

If I could only draw what I see in my head, then afford to build it, and finaly get to play with it...

A 1412 1y might not be to bad at 2750kv, but it's more then the whole 1415 mmp combo. Castle is now a victim of it's own success :)

I personally want to see a 2400 kv in A 1406 OR 1410, I love lower kv for ease of gearing, heat control and efficiency

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

More options coming... but right now we are having difficulty keeping up with the demand for the 1410 and 1406 motors.

Look for new options in about eight weeks.

Thanx!

Patrick

Well, a 1412 1Y would have a KV of 3200, not 3800.

Hey Patrick since things are going so well in the Motor & ESC business, why don't you guys think about expanding your business and getting into the Lipo business. Hell if Maxamps can do it out of their household garage and make a profit then CC should be able to get in there and make a killing creating a fair priced competitive line of Lipo's to ride right along side of the rest of your gear. With the reputation that you have already put in place with the CC name, I would be willing to bet that those same customers would put their hard earned money into your battery packs as well. One stop shopping for the best R/C electronics on the market. Plus you can create some new jobs to help out the job market. Call it the ANTI Obama initiative. Don't you think so fellas?

Put together a good line of Lipo's, do it with the already sound customer service you now have, and give us a fair price and you can corner a fair precentage of the market right out of the gate. If all MA had to do was put a pretty sticker on their heatshrink wraps working out of mom's garage, then a company like CC should be able to do a whole lot better. Just a thought....

I'm actually surprised CC hasn't gone into the ebike/EV market yet. I'd like to see an ESC CC could come up with when they aren't limited by R/C size/weight constraints.

Hell I did not even think of this until after I posted the last one, but with you guys already having a CC factory setup in China it would be pretty easy to open a branch in that facility and easily put together a Lipo specific section. You could either purchase already made cells and just fab R/C ready packs like most or you could even start from scratch and make your own cells. I would think that this would be a no brainer for your already established electonics business. So Patrick how about some thougths on this?
