Gorilla Maxx G2 aluminum w/UE Servo Saver Kit - 03.14.2005, 01:05 PM

I'm about to place an order for the Gorilla Maxx G2 aluminum chassis.

I need to know if the UE Servo Saver Kit will fit, and if not, what is recommend? I don't want to make any mods to the new chassis unless there's no other choice.

TIA

You might want to check out Proline's servo saver setup. I just installed it in my E-Maxx, and it's awesome. Same cam-lock concept as UE's, only it cost me $41 shipped instead of $99+s/h.

I would guess that both will fit fine directly in the G-Maxx chassis, because it looks like the G-Maxx plates don't have the same standoffs as the stock E-Maxx chassis.

Thanks. I had to cut off the standoffs on the stock chassis, that's why I was wondering if it would work without any modifcations.

Yeah, I just looked at the GorillaMaxx site, and since all the parts can lay flat in one picture, I would say that the UE and Proline servo savers can fit without any modification.

Yes. Both servo savers work without modification on the G-maxx chassis.

the proline kit fits just fine, but since the pro-line kit is made for the t-maxx you'll have to install it diferently on the emaxx....i have the 1st generation gmaxx chassis and i had to use a different servo horn and shorten the turnbuckle in order to get proper action from the servo...

play loud, drive fast, and livestrong...

No, not yet. I'll wait until I find a good CVD for it. I didn't see one listed so I ordered w/o ext (so I can use it right away).
