Their 1/18 lineup is what got me started as well! I tried an orange box once...it failed within two months. I have been a CC customer ever since. Currently I have a Mamba 25/5400 combo, Sidewinder SCT combo, 2x MMP, MMM, and a HPI branded MMM/2200combo in my Savage Flux.

My first foray into brushless was an old orange box super sport+ with a ss5800kv motor. I loved it until my first system went up in smoke a few months after getting it. Granted the gp3300 cells I was using were very abused (I know of two that had vented a couple times) but still it let out the magic smoke under almost no stress, just putting around in the street. Sent it in for warranty and the replacement went several months after that and thats when I said no to novak forever.

My Evader sit on the shelf for almost 2 years before I even started to think about getting into the hobby again so I purchased a 2 cell lipo and my first mm 5700 combo along with a digital high speed steering servo. Man I was grinning from ear to ear when I first ran that system. Still using the motor to this day currently but I retired the MM after a firmware update fail bricked it and got a MMP. Now im looking forward to a CC 1410 1y on 3s in my next setup and retiring the old the 5700kv motor as a spare.

Needless to say im hooked. Haven't dealt with their customer service yet but will soon as I will be non-warranty replacing my dead MMM soon because I accidentally torched the BEC circuit.

Also I really like the way how CC support the customers.
E.g the software is very good and very advanced this one of the reason why I stay with CC.
