You could probably buy a brushless one for the cost of a conversion...

i would rather convert it using a proper brushless combo instead of the junk motor that the brushless edition comes with. also, i really don't like how they mount the motor and the style of the mount really makes it difficult to get a better motor in there.

if it were my truggy, i would try to fab up a home-made motor mount and battery tray. then i would toss a castle MMM/2200 combo in there and call it a day.

They say a good mechanic only needs 2 tools - WD40 & Duct tape. If it moves, and its not supposed to, duct tape. If it doesn't move, and its supposed to, WD40.

RCM has quite a few mounts, you might find that one for another vehicle will work. Take all the pertinent measurements from the center diff bulk (hole spacing, overall height, bearing height and size, etc.) Maybe even make a simple drawing with the measurements, then send it over to Mike.

As long as the lower hole spacing matches and the other values are close you can use a few shims, and mod or make a new top-brace. If you're lucky you might find one that will bolt right up.
