My Brushless FLM build - 01.03.2012, 01:33 AM

So i started today putting together my emaxx. my buildlog wont be as fast as some others on the site but i'll have fun along the way doing it.

Parts list(purchased)

Fastlane A-Arms (in transit)
Fastlane Shock Towers
Fastlane Skid Plates
Fastlane 3905 Extended Chassis
Fastlane Hybrid diffs
UE Supershocks (4)
Tekin rx8/T8 2050kv ESC/Motor Combo (in Transit)
Proline Road Rage tires

Undecided items (unpurchased)
knuckles
CVD's
toe links

So i figured i would start a thread anyhow as i go through this thing. bare with me as all pics are with my phone. This is one of the 2 Emaxx's i plan on building as i have another for my daughter with similar pieces.

Thanks BlazerSS UE-maxx and Moondoggie for all the help on decisions as for directions of parts.

My workbench

Starting with the rear.

more updates as i work through

just the emaxx one for now, i dont know where to look at universal CD later i'll change it to a center diff im sure.

So i wanted a single motor mount but thought it was stupid to buy one when i can make one pretty easy. so the pics are what i did.

This is what i ended up with and i love it.

Toe links I'd look at titanium grinder links from lunsford - They are pretty cheap.

Transmission - Check out mikes universal CD...

looking at running a pair of these...

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rce=google_ext

when they say taller I'm thinking it doesn't matter for me because im installing in a FLM chassis and have plenty of room, am i missing something i would love these to fit so i can order them up.

i'll be running plenty of battery, ended up ditching my gens ace and buying 6 turnigy nano-techs as seen here http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html
