New body for mt XT8's - 01.16.2012, 06:27 PM

Hi
After long time of usage I've decided to give my loyal XT8's new body.
The oldest XT8 is 3 years old and I bought it used! might be on the track for at least 4 years...
No major issues during this time, this is impressive machine!
Current power plant: MMM and NEU TEKNO 1515

The other one is newer - the 09 model and I bought is used also.
Current power plant: MMM and 1717 motor.

I have another XT8 that I have for parts but its still almost 100% ready to go as I didn't consume to many parts over the years

Here are both of the models with the new dresses:

I like the body on the bottom one, what is it? Which one is the '09? I'm having trouble getting a stock body for my pre '09 XT8 (have had one on backorder since before Xmas), but if the bottom one fits and is more available I might go for one of those instead, as its the only other good looking truggy body I have seen.

Hot Bodies Lightning 2 Pro carbon, Mega 22/30/2, MMM, 4s3-5Ah.
Tamiya F201 carbon, Mamba 7700, MM, 2s A123 2.3ah.
Xray XT8, 1518, MMM, 4s5Ah.
Lots of boats.

Yes, the bottom one is the 09.
I used ST-RR body. I had to do some modification in the back for the shock tower but it works just fine.
