Are all the bugs worked out yet for the mambaXL?And if so i was going to run 7s do i need a new charger why do 7s batteries have two balance cords?

Not sure what your charger will do as far as how many cells in series it will do.
Most balancers only do 6s at one time. So need the extra balancer plug.

You need an 7s capable charger, then it really doesn't mather if the battery comes with one ore two balance plugs. You can also purchase two batterys one 4s and one 3s and charge them individually.

Regarding the xl, i had the rev 2 and did work flawless, i have shipped it in for replacement as advised.. it have gone 3 months and not gotten it back.. but i assume the xl2 will work just as good and prob more reliably

I have two XL2s. Both with the Cap Pak on them. One running in a Hpi Baja 5t on 8s...the other in a Brushless Traxxas Revo running on 6s.

Both are alive and well....so far.

Kirk. Do u find 6s in the revo manageable? No flipping or front end lifting? Also. I've been holding rev 1s due to the long turn around times.
