I started a new build, my third E-Maxx. So far I have GorillaMaxx G4 chassis, UE servo saver, GARC bulks, UE spider 8 diffs, FlexTek arms, UE titanium drive shafts.
Looking for some parts still like UE SuperShocks, wheels, etc. Let me know if you have some nice stuff you want to part with.
Some pics (sorry for the poor lighting - it was getting dark):
I have different options in mind for it, among others a custom carbon fiber skid plate. I am planning on driving although not bashing it hard. After all it is rather rare parts these days.
The quality of the parts is just... out of this world...
She look's so beautiful in your hand's man. Those new skid plates look alot better than the one's that were on it when I had it. Did that new rear skid plate mount ok? Apparently the guy that built it couldn't get a skid plate to fit the rear right. I think a titanium servo plate would be nice for it. PS. Nice forklift.
Traxxas E-Revo
Traxxas Nitro Rustler, 3.3 with traxxas resonator.
And my vintage Kyosho's.
Wow.. that's a great looking project you got there... the Ti arms and the Gmaxx chassis make a fantastic combo... if you're going to add lots of power,
I suggest you start think about adding a monoblock to extend the wheelbase a little.... it will to stabilize the truck during big acceleration...
Thanks lilpanther, and thanks for a great trade. Hope you are as happy with the G2R as I am with the G4. I had no problems mounting either of the skids.
I was getting a little desperate when trying to loosen the chassis screws - some of them were not in great shape, but I managed to get them out. The chassis is excellent. I already love it. :)
I'm postponing new titanium projects for now - will try with a custom molded carbon fiber project instead.

Hmm, Don't know why the last guy had so many issue's with the skid's then. Are those new skid's your using aluminum? Yea, Thank's man. I am still thinking on how I want to mount everything on the G2R, Im not sure where I can fit the HobbyKing 120a esc at yet.
Yea, I was having issue's taking the G2R apart yesterday too. I seem to have the worst luck with hex head screws.
Cool, I was planing on molding a G4 chassis just for me to have one but I never got past the planing stage.

Blazerss -> Haven't decided yet, but I run 2 x 2s Lipo's in my truck, so probably a 4274 2150kv motor or something like that. I have great experience with the Hobby Wing XeRun 4274sl and also Leopard/Hopf 4074 motors. They are all 4 pole and in m opinion they are great.
At the moment I use the Turnigy Trackstar 150A ESC and am very pleased with it.
Alien -> Thanks, man. That means a lot coming from you. :)
Good suggestion but for now I plan to run it as is. This will not be a "overpowered-superduperfast-hardcore-basher" truck. Porbably more something like "my little baby". I will be taking good care of it.
That is a rare piece of history for sure. To bad UE stopped making parts...there were amongst the best on the market for sure.
You build is pretty sweet for sure. Someone on RCT is parting out one like yours and the items he has listed are very expensive
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S
Made some progress so here's how it looks now. Almost there I think - only a few minor details here and there missing. Pretty sure this will only be a show truck:
