New electric only hobby shop in my 'hood - 08.02.2012, 12:03 AM

Sweet......oh wait.....its owned by MA.......lamesause! So I took an alternate route home today and see this new hobby shop, seems the burrito business didn't work out so they opened a hobby shop. I wonder what brand of batteries they sell I should take my new Turnigy packs in to have some Deans soldered on and see if they kick me out or not lol. I wonder if they abandoned the garage and are making packs in the store now? One of these days I may just stop in to check it out.

That is funny. Is it like a full blown hobby shop?

Yeah the owner of MA had a burrito joint.....$9 burritos that had about 30 cents worth of meat and $8.70 worth of rice and beans. And im not sure if its a full service hobby shop or not, I only drove past it and saw the sign that said "nitrokillers" which is the name of the MA forum.

@ Josh
You HAVE to take a hidden camera in with the Turnigy packs and get the look on those turkeys faces on video !!!!!

If I lived out there I'd be boycotting it worse than the gays with Chick-fil-a!

So I finally had time to go in last Saturday. Pretty small hobby shop, maybe 250sq feet. I assume the rest of the building is used for manufacture of the lipos. Actually I was surprised they didn't push their lipos down my throat at all, in fact hardly a word was said about them. They had a very small case with some assorted sized lipos and that was it. The rest was all r/c cars and parts. Prices on cars and parts was on par with other shops, which was surprising to me. All in all it was a good experience and since they are closest LHS to me they may get some of my business...... But I still will never buy one of their lipos!
