Talking Sweetstrobe Potential Pre-order (custom bulkhead and shock tower braces) - 01.17.2013, 07:58 AM

Gentlemen,

Sweetride4me is investigating the possibilty to do a run of his sweetstrobes (custom bulkhead and shock tower braces). If enough people sign up there is a good chance it could happen!

There is a thread over on the UE forum (http://www.unlimitedengineering.com/...ad.php?t=23850), but I offered to help presenting it on this forum as well.

Currently it's expected to cost $105-125 a set shipped.

Most likely two different versions will be available; 1) 'Stocker' set and 2) a set that has the turnbuckle "tail" removed to be used with the UE Racer-X setups.

If you are SERIOUSLY interested in one (or more) set(s) please write an email to sweetride4me_at_yahoo.com (replace "_at_" with @).

Thank you.

It should be noted that these are designed to be used with UE knucklehead shock towers. They should work with any bulkheads, but as some shock towers are thinner/thicker than others it can cause a fitment issue.

And the original intention introduced by Strobe was to be used with stock bulks to save weight. It was to strengthen the stock bulk. The GA bulk heads were and still are kinda heavy. it matters less now for lots of reasons.

To echo Harold, these will not work with GorillaMaxx shocks towers without removing a large amount of material from the rear-face of the braces, due to the GorillaMaxx towers being very bulky and fat where they mount the bulks ( and the strobe brace at the top two screws ). Only much use for looks with that much material removed...
