Question 10l on brushless? - 06.15.2006, 12:29 AM

I am looking at buying a 10l pan car to install a brushless system on. Does anyone have any suggestions on a motor and esc for the car? I am also not sure what batt setup to use. I am looking at finally getting in to lipo for the emaxx and would probably be looking at a 2S pack for the 10L. I am looking for high speed here, and the car is very light so torque is not going to be an issue. Any suggestions is appreciated. Thanks

Castle Creations is coming out with their Mamba Max system very soon (Monday the 19th). You could use the 7700kv motor on 6 NiMh cells or 2s Lipo, and it would be a rocket!

Any suggestions on what gearing I should end up with?

Gearing would be trail and error. I'd start off geared as high as possible with the mamba max setup though. Your car will probably be uncontrollable.
