Gorillamaxx problem? -
06.26.2006, 05:18 AM
Hi, I had purchased the front skid plate directly from gorillamaxx over two weeks ago which has not arrived yet. I have tried to contact them by e-mail and phone with no luck...Has anyone had problems ordering from them directly?

Try e-mailing George. He responds rather quick.

I always order thru Mike, but I heard George is real good usually on getting back. Maybe have Mike give him a call? Never had the prob personally. Sorry to hear man! I know how hard it is to wait for parts!

Particular reason meaning, tell me if I'm wrong here: If you sent it Thursday or Friday, then you may not hear back for a few days unless he checks his mail on the weekend, this is usually because they are busy getting everything out before the weekend. If you sent a message on a monday or tues, they haven't replied most likely because they are playing catch up FROM the weekend.
Another reason...VACATION! LOL, we all need those!

I got a response today using my gmail account. Apparently yahoo was filtering his address.
As for the package, I will have to file for a missing package if it doesn't arrive within 30 days. I'm just not lucky!

Well, it happens to everyone. But, for me, it's tons better to go thru all that at times, then to go thru my LHS! They didn't even know what a UBEC was! good luck man!

Yes Squee, you do have it worse! I thought i had it the worst, and here you go topping me off! LOL. I brought my truck in once after getting the chassis from FLM, they guy was like, what's that? I told him an emaxx and he wouldn't believe me! I was thinking, why don't you go to the back room and sniff some more nitro dude, it seems you need a refill!

Well at least you have a Local hobby shop. I went to my brothers when visiting him one day. 2 hrs away. At least you can get a few minor things if they have it.
Peace!
