People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Either they have or they are working on a firmware update that will be available as soon as you receive the Mamba Max.
My FREE 5700 system should be here by Monday or Wednesday :).

Metalman,
Do you know anything about the Mamba Monster Maxx?

I know it's going to be a while before it's out. It's supposed to handle 16 NiMh cells and 4s Lipo (although I'm sure you could also use 5s Lipo). From specs from a while ago it was rated at 2400watts continuous and 3600watts peak. I haven't heard anything about this particular unit in a while, though.

Thanks,
I'm currently looking at the Quark Monster 125b, UBEC, and Feigao 8XL or 9XL (Unless I fall into some extra money, then a Lehner 1950).
Interested to see what the Mamba Monster Maxx will offer in comparison!

Here's the reply from CC I got after asking when I could expect my MM:
The person that invoices this said that we should be able to get it out
to you in the next few weeks. We have just really got going on
production so we are trying to get them out as soon as we make them.
Next few WEEKS? :mad:1

I hope mine comes in soon - it should have shipped last Thursday, and beta testers get priority in receiving their systems. Hopefully tomorrow!

i am trying to go around and hit most of the threads i am subscribed to, the mamba 770 came in today and all i can say is DAMN....
most here are not familiar with my t4, but lets just say its about the most custom and insane stadium truck around...
ok, popped the 7700 in and took it out for a quick run on a 2s lipo that hadnt been charged in a couple of months ( i was just planning on tooling around, nothing big). i was out driving around and of course punching it a bit to see how hard it hit. so basically with the punch control still on, it was spinning the road rage tires for about 2ft before finally looping around, well during this process of tire spinning, i managed to break a titanium rear axle in half. there were no jumps, no crashes, no acts of God...just pure power from a half dead lipo hooked to a bada$$ motor...
S^3: everyone wishes they could design modifications like these.
