dude that really sucks. i would go for a e-revo; they can the jumps and bumps but also still race.

eyy man the e-revo is very great, but the gorilla chassis and intery pro suspension type 3 is a vey geart combo. (including great shocks)
but in the end the price might equal out or the maxx might cost a bit more!

First off, the Revo will probably be alot less....And far superior on the track. The Revo with the FLM diffs, soon to be, RPM arms, G2R chassis, nice BL setup, GTR shocks w/TiNi coated shafts, Traxxas aluminum tubes, ect. will make a very race worthy truck.

With the new diffs coming out I think the erevo would be cool.
It be like a do it all type of truck.
The gmaxx is a great truck as well.

Peace!

Was your lost truck insured by the postal service?

G mann, that sucks. I would still fight for more. How the heck do they lose something like that and not take full responsibility? 5500.00? yeah, i'd get a frickin lawyer! You have proof of payment, proof that you insured it, tracking number? The sender should have proof that he sent it! Obviously, you didn't lose it, and the sender didn't lose it! yeah, lawyer!

A top notch extended g-maxx will hang with the Revo on a track no sweat. The 1/8 diff option surely makes the E-Revo a much more viable contender, but it is hard to imagine it doing much better than my extended g-maxx(if any). I still prefer the Maxx, simply because there are more hop up options, 1/8 diffs and it is a lot easier to mount the electronics without the shocks taking up all the room.
I may change my mind once I get the 1/8 diffs and a center diff in the G2R, but my g-maxx with the "slipperential" is as good as it gets IMO at the moment.

I think the main thing about the Maxx's are that they cost more to make them a contender...The Revo doesn't take much.

agreed. My maxx is a couple $K by the time it is done(a "contender" could be built for under $2k)....but it is as tough as they come, handles exceptionally well, looks bada$$ and is relatively easy to mount the electronics onto. You get what you pay for I guess. You could easily run into a couple $k on the Revo if you make it all aluminum. My maxx shows as well as it goes. I like them both, but the maxx is still my favorite at the moment.

Yes Mike, show as you go! Can't wait for LIPO!!!!!!!! My maxx has a cuople $K easily, and it's not even "top notch" yet! But i would love to build a revo as well just for the challenge!
