I've heard of a similar problem using 6s Lipo over at RCZ. It seems like it's just a design flaw that causes the behavior.

i think i'm having the same issue that coolhand is having. i set neutral range to wide, but it still jerks violently. why rate a controller for 6s if it doesn't work? i know 6s is nominal 3.7 and charged at like 4.2, but doesn't everyone run fully charged packs most of the time? i mean come on! quark isn't very impressive to me! they better do something for me!

Hmm. Up until now, I think the only ones reporting this issue were the 80, but I guess it's not limited to those.

Hi,
what motor do you use ?
Did you try other ones ?
You can also try to speak directly with Frank Root. He's a Sky&Technologies
guy: frank@quarkbrushless.com.
Ciao,
Daniele

It might be a high cell count thing. My Quark 125 and 9920 both do it alot on 18 cells, but not really on 14 and a little bit on 16.

Frank's response to the other guy on RCZ was that there is no need to run 6s Lipo, and he failed to answer the question about what to do with it.

i read that, but i figure it might help to speed things up on a fix or something if they hear of more problems. frank said to send it in and it would be replaced with a new unit in 3-4 weeks, they are out of stock until then! guess i'll try 5s at the track this weekend, my 2s should be in friday. i'm reading that some people are running 6s with no problems, i can't verify that though. does anyone else know of or read about people running 6s successfully?
