outputs keep coming loose

3 or 4 times during 1 pack my mip outouts keep coming loose on my rusty:031: ive tried thread locking them and letting it sit over night, although it did help some they still came loose later during the first run. any trick to keeping these things tight?

Use the best hex keys you can get., a set of new setscrews might help too. if the cups has got two screws, tighten them both, crossed, if you know what i mean..

use blue loctite.

yes i presume the blue loctite is the strogest, but once you use blue and let it sit it will be very hard to take it out.

I had the same problem with my UE diffs. What i found out was the set screws wear out over time & need to be replaced. You should replace them with new ones & your problem should be solved

Red is one of the best, blue is below that actually. You can get some of the green/black stuff that's even better than the red, but then, you'll never get them off unless you use a dremmel! Trust me, i learned the hard way! Have you ever had to cut thru the tempered steel with a dremmel? Talk about a firework show!

Try to make sure your set screws and cups are on the shaft right.
Some times you can get it tight but it is twisted a touch.
Make sure the set screws are on the hole where the stock pin goes thru.
Put a drop in the hole as well on the set screw. It holds a little better than way.

mine dosent have a hole threw it:032:. ok i was using the blue mip stuff ill try red and ill replace the set screews with new ones hopfully that will work tnx guys:dft009:

Your set screws do actually were out. If you look at a new one there is usually a sharp lip or some times little teeth on the end. Over time they were out after repetid loosening & tighting.
