this is from a gezzer on a UK fourm. As I understand it never gets past 40% power on this clip, but its impressive all the same.

Looks like it would be a good idea once the air bubble thing and flameouts are addressed. It's too bad he couldn't give it full throttle to see how fast it actually can go.

BTW: the video is ~43MB for those with slow connections....

Well, brushless accelerates faster for sure..

That was a long movie. But a very cool project. IMO that car is too heavy.

I am going to make a duct fan powered snow mobile this winter, i hope to get some decent speed/handling/acceleration from it. (it will be light.)

It looks as if it runs like a nitro. Just about the time the fun starts it cuts off.
It don't look real fun. Slow take off and no wheel spin.

Peace!

Does abit :027:
I think it needs more space to see it full potential, its definitely an on road machine. In the vid they are all rolling starts. The car has all round hydraulic disk brakes I recon with those applied you would get more of an impresive take off......still no wheel spin through :002:

jeez you guys are hard to impress, :005:
after all its only a jet powered Marder...... two a penny these days

maybe nerves got the better of him :026: It was its maiden voyage. I have no doubt though the next vid will include a large amount of tarmac and some full throttle.
your all right about the fun factor though....very limited, gimmi brushess anyday.

Oi Serum , I'm still waiting for that beer ;)
