I would say, if you're thinking of those, go radio shack gp3300's instead. IMO

Yes, but the gp's really pack a punch. And your spending 70.00 on something you are unsure of. If you want higher that 3300, then i would stick to a well known product that you know has good reviews. But this is just my opinion, and the only reason i say this is because i have tried many types of batts because they were cheaper and had a higher mah. But that never meant they were "good" batts". just my 2 cents man. If you get them, let us know! Oh, i would use those tabs, i would use better ones.

Sounds good. Let us know how they work out for you. do they give a rating on them? Some batt places chart out their performance????

They don't look like very good cells to me. They've only got a 10C (35 amp) constant current rating. That may be fine for stock motors, but it won't cut it for brushless motors. Save your money and buy some IB or GP cells.

That's what i was thinking too. I would agree and go gp's or IB's, they are more money, but with batts, you don't always want the cheapest!

Only thing that has my interest in these cells is that a couple guys on another forum have "claimed" that they are working great.

It's possible they are actually good cells. I have considered trying them myself.

But I have my doubts too....

There is a link to a chart under the Technical Specifications for the batteries but the chart says for 3600mAh, here is the link http://www.all-battery.com/datasheet/sc3600mah.pdf
It says up to 35 amps, so that should be peak discharge.

IMO, i always stay away from stick packs with BL, some guys will say they are fine, but me....only side by side. That is a great price though! You could also see what Mike has!!!! Or austin!

i second that. when i had my dual hv-maxx e-maxx, i was running stick packs. they ran on the hotter side. then i made them into side by side packs and they never got warm!

Well, for starters, any retailer that has a forum like this:

really makes me think twice about their company. This isn't just a thread they've got going there, it's a whole forum set aside for people to write glowing reviews of their products and then they pay them $30 :030:

That couldn't possibly lead to biased reviews, could it?

Anyway, after seeing that, I'm steering clear. Unless someone shows me discharge curve, I'll spend my money elsewhere. Also, think about this with the tabs. I mean, they sound like a great idea, until you realize that the only way you can weld something is to use a high-resistance metal. So any gains you get in a good performing cell go right out the window. I see that you are going to remove the tabs and that's good. I'm just throwing this in here for other folk's information.
