Right now I have a stock emaxx and the steering is horible I was wondering what a good servo would be for under $130. And when I am shoping what kind of torque(number) should I be looking for (for example above 200) and will it be able to turn the wheels on the ground.

A Hitec 5955TG is pretty much the most powerful servo you can get. It has Titanium gears, 333oz of torque at 6V, and a .15 transit time at 6V. I have also heard of people running it on 7.2/7.4volts, which then gives it 417oz of torque. However, 333 is plenty.

This is what I have on my G2R and had on my E-Maxx. It turns the wheels very easily. On my E-Maxx, it would get the wheels half way to lock when I was at a dead stop. But the second I moved it would go to full lock almost instantly.

On my G2R it will go lock to lock at a dead stop on every surface I have driven on except deep grass, where it doesnt quite make it all the way there.

I highly recommend this servo.

Yea, it will turn the wheels no problem, BUT you need something like a Proline servo saver or a UE servo saver or it will just wind out the stocker...

The prolines are, like the powerstrokes, obselete.. You need Ebay to get them.
