I'd start with a 14 and see where you need to go,might need a bigger spur gear because i tryed a 17/87 on mashers in a T3 with my 5700 on 6 celled NIMH and it was fast but slow on the takeoff. Now running a 14/87 on a T4 with stock sized tires and no problems

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

So long as you run it in its parameters (up to 3s) it shouldn't thermal, at least castle couldn't get it to, it will just be sluggish at the start. Fair warning, it will be fast, so be careful. If it were me I'd get the biggest spur traxxas makes (I think its a 94) and gear it with a 16-18 tooth pinion
