Help ! The dark side is calling to me -
02.05.2007, 04:04 AM
Hi,
I have been BL buggyless for the past few weeks after my motor adaptor went south. I am in the process of trying to get Mike to machine a different design for me. I should be pretty depressed but in the meantime, nitro is calling to me. I am actually starting to enjoy myself ! Somebody slap some sense into me !
Anyway, I do hope Mike starts to look into my need soon. I need the unfair advantge to compensate for me poor driving skills.
I have purchased a BK 12020 from Mike & will use it in place of the Quark125. I have just done a successful test of the BK in my savage (but with no reverse) so I think I will stick to BK for the time being.
Regards,
Joe Ling

We'll have to get you into NA asap - Nitro Anonymous!
"Hello, my name is joeling, and I am a Nitroholic".
:005:
Anyway, you ought to pick up a fairly cheap stadium truck or something. Then, throw a MM system in it to get you by.

I agree, a MM in a RC10 T4 is great fun. However, now that I've driven my BL buggy, 4WD makes things SO much better.

Looks like we might need to do an RC-M intervention!

Thanks for your support. :027: but I can't help myself... going at it again this Wednesday if weather permits & proper custom clearance from wife :005:
In the meantime, waiting for Mike.:dft012:

I am getting ready to cut a similar mount, let me know if you want me to machine it for ya. What buggy? The one I have drawn up is for a Kyosho/HB.

Why step into the darkness? You can walk the fence and have fun with both
Work because i gotta, play because i wanna
People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

Hi crazyjr,
Yeah that's a very good idea ! Only thing is I have only darkness now. Waiting for parts to see the light again.
Wow pretty deep there:005: .
Just venting my frustration. I'm pretty close to getting a stable machine before all the troubles began. Getting things right in this tropical heat is not easy. The esc is the most fragile part of the chain. In addition, I'm trying to move on to the next evolution on buggy conversion but nothing can be done until I get a running machine.:036:

I have an equal amount of both, but if i had to pick a favorite of the nitro's, it would be a tossup of the 3.3 revo and my GT2
