The CF edition by orion cannot be compared to the TrakPower( first being 3200mah of capacity, latter is 4900mah capacity).
The TrakPower would easily give more juice, but if you bring in the Orion 4800mah lipo pack, the TrakPower will have a very strong rival to confront.
Still, though, the TrakPower can hold more volts at higher amp rates, I don't know if the Orion has the same capability.
Also, you need a special harness for both the Orion and TrakPower for balancing. FlightPower has the harness for the TrakPower. Kokam has the Orion's harness.
Also, make note that the orion 4800mah pack is pricyier than the TrakPower.(O= 130+ dollars, T= 119 dollars or something).

The orions are ok, but if you can, get the trakpowers, they are to be some of the best according to Serum. He also has a data sheet on those as well some where in another thread around here somewhere!

Well, I can't answer this. I'm pretty new to the MT world.
The only way to check the difference between the 3200mah orion and the trakpower is to use the eagletree bywhich you can measure the amp rates, watts and voltage.
Also, if you have a radar, you can check the speed of your truck with both the trakpower and orion's cf cased 3200mah pack.
Ofcourse, according to the specs of both packs, the trakpower has the upper hand easily and you'll surely feel a difference in power and speed.

I run the 12020 on 10xl with 5s lipo. I don't think you would want a 6xl though. Maybe a 7xl on the trak powers would be nice, or even an 8xl geared...

i'm kinda stuck with the gearing if i have to stick to the tranny.
have to start working on that center diff-idea.
then i will be around 15/1, now i'm around 20/1 or up.
that what makes me look at the 6xl, cuz i only get 30mph then.
would it run to hot?

Well, what are you running for spur and pinion? In what truck?
