OnLine store bug - 04.23.2007, 10:02 AM

Hello !

I notice a bug on rc-monster.com online store. When I am logged in, I can't finalize an order. I enter my coordonates, I click on the chekout button. But on the next page, shipping rates are not displayed. I can select UPS or USPS but the checkout button just reload the page.
So, Mike you can delete the empty order #10005140 (I don't know how I could do it). As you can see, I put an another UPS order (So I had to be logged out to do it (not a big problem)).

Regards,

Christophe

There are rarely problems with Mike's store, but your best bet would be to email him directly.

Did you get your problem resolved Kris92?

I put an order in on friday that I think was aborted by paypal, I tried again today, and had exactly the same problem that Kris92 had.

I have been sending E-mails since early friday with no responce. Mikes main e-mail address never worked for me tho, although I found one that did work with my PC. I'm worried that the mails to the previously working address arn't getting through now either.

Perhaps somone that has no problems getting in touch with Mike would ask him to email me at paul@nativebeats.co.uk or PM me with his phone number, so I can order over the phone, maybe a PM would be safer as I dont know that mike hasn't responded by email but they haven't got to me.

Can you use internet cafes to make online orders? It seems kinda dubious to me, but maybe the easyest solution is to get a train to the nearest big town and find a net cafe there to order, what if that machine stored my details tho, I could be in trouble?

Any help greatly appreciated

Paul

Mike has two different email addresses. Did you try this one:
rcmonstermike@gmail.com

Hmmm. Was it something to do with the ZIP code not matching the city/state? I've had a problem like that a time or two with UPS here at work.

Possibly, I live in England and my zip code has letters in it as well as numbers. American ones have numbers only right?

Yup, 5 digits, plus an "optional" 4.

When these types of error occur I need to know the exact error message you get and where at in the order process you get stopped. Then we can troubleshoot the issue and get them resolved.

Thanks,

There was no error message it just gets stuck in a loop on the shiping select screen, whether you pick ups or usps it just sends you back to the shiping select page, ad infinitum.

I've had this problem for a week or so now... not sure about before that..

but if you're logged in, it won't go past the select your shipping method screen.. if you're not logged in, there's no problem. I just don't log in anymore, and don't have any worries.

I'm having the same problem today... I'm stuck here

Shopping Cart

Please select a shipping option from those below.

Or select an alternate shipping carrier to compare rates.
UPS RatesUSPS Rates

I know that didn't post well but should give you an idea of what screen I'm on. You select an option and choose checkout and it brings you right back to the same page. I'll try doing it without logging on.

ok a little more info.... I got my order completed. I was logged in but the first time I used the Paypal button for payment from the shopping cart page. This was unsuccessful. Next I was stilled logged on but I tried the Checkout button ... I still used Paypal for payment but I did not get stuck on the shipping options page.

Yep, I just had the same problem and solution. There must be a glitch in the PayPal button string.
