Red face How much is it worth? - 06.12.2007, 05:14 PM

I just want to know what it's worth, a really rough idea would be great, I've put thousands into it and hope to get thousands back, lol, I know the Lightning chassis is very rare at the moment and it has a custom rear drive shaft as I use it with a Monoblock too.

Yeah I know. ARGH WIRES! :D

UE Lightning
UE Widetrac
UE Monoblock
UE Idler
UE 8 spyder Diffs
UE Supershocks (8)
UE Servo-Saver
UE 6mm CVDs
UE Titanium Center / Custom Rear Shaft
Gorillamaxx Single Speed
Strobe Slipper
DACE 23mm Hexs
GA Titanium Front/Rear skids
FLM Bulkheads
40s Velocities + Bowties

Please be aware, I'm not selling it (so don't PM me), I just want to know the value if split or sold as a piece, it would be nice to know since it was an awesome investment! :D

Really nice truggy. But unfortunately, rc's don't have all that great of a resale value. My guess (really rough estimate) for it would probably be 1000 - 1200. I have seen many full aluminum e-maxx's on ebay, and many of them are being relisted over and over again.

Good luck selling though.

agreed. and why would you ask what it's worth with no interest in selling? you're bragging that you have a lightning chassis, dang it... just what i'm looking for... :031: lol

i saw a truck just like yours go for $1200 or $1300 not long ago on UE's forums. lightning, servo saver, 8 spyders, double supershocks, etc. but this one had racerX suspsension, which is worth more than the widetrack. if you had towered VBS i'd say you could probably get around $1800. UE is holding its value more than other 3rd party suppliers, but i think the bottom is slowly falling out of that as the 'craze' lately is not so much maxx's and more revo's and 1/8 scale buggies/truggies.

as always, parting it out usually gets more. if you do that, let me know! :027:

Well, yeah, I am thinking of selling it but if I'm only going to get $1200 for it then I won't bother! :(

It's a fun truck, just don't have time for it and since I've had it for like 4 years I don't know how much all the bits were.

If you were selling it i would say part it out on the UE form. You would get more for it that way.

spliting it out and ebaying it youd probably get about a grand nick i got about £400 for mine and id spent no where near as much on it as you have it was all RPM arms and the chassis was like a frying pan from jumping it.

sellig it may be the way to go though i have far more fun with my ZX5 than i ever did with my maxx and its cost a fraction of the maxx, deffently far more reliable. Sure ill have far more fun with the hyper to when i get it runing right.

Oops! Beg your pardon, Nick...BTW, I'd give the SuperMaxx a 1500 dollars. People just don't appreciate highly sophisticated machines.
