I ordered it (Castle CC BEC) and will want to set it to output 6V, has anyone done this? I see in the docs that you need the USB interface, but I don't see anywhere how to do this?
Can I just use my own USB cable or is theirs proprietary?
I would assume I would need software, which one? I actually have not received it yet but I thought I would find the instructions on their website.
I will use this with the Quark 125B, I'm assuming it will work fine. In the docs it says I need a digital BEC.
You need a castle link. It is a little do-dad that hooks up to the servo plug on the cc bec and then to a usb cable(included). It comes with the software. Here it is:
It's very simple to do, once you have done what lincpimp says. After that, start up the software, and select 6.0v from the drop-down menu. Then click "Update" and you're done .

Great, I wish I had asked earlier, I would have put it in my order from rc-monster.
Would there be any reason for this BEC to not work with the Quark 128b?
The reason for that is probably because most ESCs can be used with as low as 6 cells and the drop-out voltage of the linear regulator may be too high to allow 6v out, especially near the end of the cycle. That, and 5v seems to be the standard voltage for servos. Most nowadays can use 6v though.
