RC DRIVER Magazine - 11.17.2007, 04:21 PM

There is an article about 1/8 scale BL conversions on page 60 of the January issue of RC Driver Magazine....

Mike's motor heatsink made an appearance!

I don't get it though....they are advocating a Neu/Mamba Max combo RCD says they could control the cogging with the Castle Link software Not to nit pick, but they also spelled Neu as "Nue."

Neu & MM esc will work together, it just seems that you need to experiment alot to find a good setting/profile. Some people say they get really bad cogging, others that they've had very little trouble... lots of variables I guess.

I tried that set up and really fiddled with it for a long time and never could get it to work...finally decided just to buy an MGM.

BTW...there's nothing wrong with the HV MAXX...I had one and it served me well...sometimes I wish I still had it.

They also said that they would do a head to head of electric VS nitro in the next edition and they did not. I was looking forward to it.

I thought they did do the article?!?!?!? I have several subscriptions so I may be wrong, but I know I read an article of a similar topic. Unfortunately, I don't keep my magazines...I give them out to friends and people at work.
