Castle Link on Linux - 12.09.2007, 08:40 AM

Is there a Linux Version of the Castle Link? Or just something that runs on Linux?

Thank you

Daf

So what about Linux now.

About time there is a Linux Version of the Castle Link available

Please Castle, let's help us to get rid of Microsoft... your little programm is the only reason that there is still a Windows installed on our HDs here.

this wouldn't be something that could be run on wine? I suppose it wouldn't because of the USB connection.

Wine did not work for me. But a mate of me is still paying around with it, trying to find a way. No luck yet, though.

I'm using Virtualbox PUEL version and it works just fine on ubuntu. I had a little trouble initially but that was due to my own silliness and I didn't realize that the OSE version did not have USB support. Here's a screen shot of it hooked up to my mamba max.

No probs, do post here if you guys run into any trouble and I'll try my best to help you out. Right now, WINE is out of the question, we will have to use a Windows virtual machine.
